Skid Steer 4 wheel vs Track?

OK I’m thinking about getting a skid steer but I been wondering something. For all my jobs I have always rented a 4 wheel skid steer. Now my question is what reasons or what are the advantages to having a skid steer track loader instead of the 4 wheel loader?

I know the obvious is that it displaces it weight across a wider area but is it really worth it? Like yeah I been in situations where I needed to drive on soft sand and couldn’t but I always figured other ways of doing the job. So what do you guys think?

i think the wheels would be better, because due to the nature of the beast, the tracks would make it more difficult to turn on pavement or concrete (in my opinion), and you can also buy aftermarket tracks to fit over the wheels.
